With a degree in Midwifery and a Master's in Advanced Professional Practice, I spent over fourteen years as a Registered Midwife, providing expert, compassionate care through some of life's most powerful moments.
In 2022 I qualified as an Independent Prescriber, allowing me to prescribe, supply and administer prescription-only medicines, including anti-wrinkle treatments, without a separate prescribing doctor. Your consultation and treatment are led by the same clinician.
This path also led me through mental health services, where I saw firsthand the powerful connection between self-image, confidence and inner resilience. It was here I discovered my true passion: helping people feel genuinely comfortable and confident in their own skin.
For the last seven years, alongside my medical work, I have been honing my craft in the world of aesthetics. Seeing how even the most subtle changes could empower people to feel more aligned and confident revealed my true purpose: to merge my two worlds.
This rare combination of clinical expertise and artistic passion is what led me to create The Modern Muse, my boutique studio nestled in the heart of Dawlish, Devon. Here, my medical knowledge and understanding of anatomy and safety provide the foundation for every single treatment, from advanced skin rejuvenation and bespoke piercings to flawless microblading.
I have designed it to be a welcoming, empowering space where the highest standards of care meet the art of self-expression. My belief is simple: everyone deserves to feel confident, seen and comfortable in their own skin.
